Ivi Tivik: Lisa and John's Scale Book (Violin)

Lisa and John's Scale Book together with collections of etudes (Lisa's Violin Book) and musical pieces (John's Violin Book), as well as Violin ABC, forms a coherent whole for the elementary violin studies.

Learning to play scales is not an end in itself, but helps to improve the necessary technical skills. There are numerous publications of study materials, but quite a few systematic collections suitable for the elementary violin studies in accordance with the basic principles of modern pedagogy.

This Scale Book presents one possible model for learning the scales and is strongly based on the valubale heritage in this field.
