My Forest Notebook (Angeline Bell)

Angeline Bell's fifth Notebook for the intermediate player (ABRSM Grade 4-6) was inspired by her love of trees. Each of the fifteen piano solos has been named after a tree with its unique character. Many of these neoclassical style pieces have been broadcast on BBC Sounds on The Sleeping Forecast for their relaxing and dreamy nature.

The book is helpful for learning new key signatures, polyrhythm, hemiola, syncopation, phrasing and dynamic balance.
