”We wished to add an Irish carol to the repertoire for our annual Lucia Day concert in Dublin, and I chose to arrange ”The Wexford Carol”. In December 2016, the work premiered at the Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin. While arranging I explored the dynamic effects achieved with responsory singing and through variation of the number of parts.”
